History

The prestigious St. Anselm’s School, Ajmer, run by the dioceses of Ajmer-Jaipur, has been imparting education for more than 100 years now with it’s philosophy of “DEO AMABILES ET HOMINIBUS (pleasing to God-pleasing to men)” a land mark institution which has given several illustrious leaders to Rajasthan and India at large. Twenty Seven Years back, the Diocese of Ajmer-Jaipur wanted to start a similar school in the “Garden City” of Alwar in view of bringing in values and the experience of Ajmer. For this, Fr. Jose Anickatt, who had an ample experience of having run some of the best institutions of the society was entrusted upon the charge of building a new school with him as the founder principal in the year 1987. With its motto ‘GROW TO SERVE’ – St. Anselms Sr. Sec. School Alwar grew bringing about the best in academics, cultural and co-curricular fields for a dynamic and a far sighted education. Much has been achieved and a lot remains to be done. As there is no end to excellence, as our aim is to excel further in different activities, keeping in mind ‘the motto’ that education apart from academic excellence, must make a child, above all, a person of character to make him/her a worthy citizen of this great nation. Education is a continuous process. We teach with most modern techniques without loosing the basic values for which St. Anselm’s has been standing for. As time elapses, new phases open up. The school management is progressive and understands the dynamic environment towards which the child has to be prepared. We believe in multiple intelligence of children and not merely rely on IQ and do our best to arrange for the human and physical resources available to make every child, prepared for the 21st century.
